BEGINNER’S ACADEMY & VOLLEY TOTS

NO MORE ACADEMY THIS YEAR AS WE PREPARE FOR GIRL’S TRYOUTS. WE WILL BRING THIS CLINIC BACK IN JANUARY 2026!

Ignite’s Academy clinics are designed for beginners, those that are either brand new to volleyball or are still working on getting serves over and basic skills.

We cover skill development at the beginning of the clinic and then finish with some sort of game play.

For our younger players (K through 6th Grade – Volley Tots), our experienced coaches will work with these younger players (girls and boys) to help them develop a strong foundation of volleyball skills, learn the rules of the game, and gain an enjoyment of the sport of volleyball.

ABILITY LEVELS

BEGINNING: Athlete is LEARNING and developing basic skills of the game and basic team concepts.

INTERMEDIATE: Athlete is REFINING skills of the game and applying them to positions while learning more advanced team concepts.

ADVANCED: Athlete is REFINING skills of the game and applying them to positions while learning more advanced team concepts. Must have at least 1-2 years of competitive volleyball background (club, school, etc.) to attend.
