Ignite’s Boy’s Club Program is in it’s 3rd season and is the largest and most successful in Scottsdale. The upcoming 2023-24 season will consist of teams ranging in ages from 12-18 and local as well as National (travel) teams.
This upcoming season we will have lots of experienced coaches – some who play with our partner – Valor, an Arizona Pro Volleyball Team based at Ignite! Practices will be at Ignite and include 2 practices a week plus weight training, conditioning/agility training.
The Boy’s Club Season is unique. Tryouts in August, tournaments in July, October, Nov and December for the Fall League and then travel opportunities in Dec/January for National (travel) teams. In February, National teams will take a break during the HS Season (Feb-May) and return back after HS State Championships to finish with a few local tournaments leading up to AAU or USAV Nationals in June/July. Also during the High School season, there is a 14 and under Spring league that we will form teams for.

TRYOUT TIMES ON SATURDAY:
- 15’s & 16’s – 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM (check-in starts at 7:30)
- 17’s & 18’s – 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (check-in starts at 9:30)
- 14’s & younger – 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM (check-in starts at 11:30)

It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you read and go step by step. Failure to compete each and every step will make tryouts harder for all of us. It’s important that tryouts go smoothly, so please follow directions as outlined below.
STEP 1: SPORTS ENGINE ACCOUNT
Its very important that you create a FREE Sports Engine household account in the PARENT’S NAME. This is the account where you will create your parent’s account.
AFTER YOU CREATE THE HOUSEHOLD ACCOUNT, COME BACK TO THIS SITE AND USE THE LINK BELOW IN STEP 2 to CREATE YOUR ATHLETE’S MEMBERSHIPS.

STEP 2: REGISTER WITH THE USAV AZ REGION
In order to participate in tryouts, your child will need to be registered with the USAV AZ Region. Not only are we required to make sure you have registered, but it’s important in case they get injured as membership with the region covers as secondary insurance.
NEW ATHLETES TO CLUB – you will need to purchase a temporary Summer membership that will cover your child until September 1st, where you’ll need to go back and purchase a full season membership. This is NOT IDEAL, but our AZ Region requires all clubs to do this.

The 2023-24 Season we will offer the following options: National Teams who will Travel and Local Teams that will stay here in AZ. There are multiple age groups for each option, plus if a team wants to travel say to Chicago, we can upgrade that team to that price point:

- Breakdown: $550 Deposit, 3 payments of $450

I’m super excited to announce our new volleyball jerseys for the boys upcoming season!
These jerseys are inspired by Dragon Ball Z and feature a fun and inspiring nod to the excitement and passion around volleyball and anime. I hope you all like them – it really pushes our design and we’re really happy to have WildPepper and Slunks as our vendors this year! These jerseys let our players know that hard work and dedication pay off as you can always push past your limits if you train and push past the pain.
