Played all 4 years of High school, off season I played club at Minnesota One club for 2 years, then transferred to play at Midwest power volleyball for my last 2 years of High school. Once I graduated I played 2 years at St. Cloud Technical Community college, after my 2 years I transferred to Arizona to play at NAIA Arizona Christian University for one year, then for my last 2 years of school I transferred to play NAIA at Park University- Gilbert. Now that I am fully graduated I compete on a Semi-Professional Volleyball team called Phoenix Valor Women’s Volleyball Team.
I have been playing volleyball since I was a little girl and watching my oldest sister growing up made me have a love for the game. I have played all positions in the game, but currently play as a libero on the team I am on now. I have coached for 6 years in total and I have grown a new passion for the sport completely. It is rewarding to see athletes not only get better on the court but gain a new level of passion for something with what the coach themselves passed along. As a coach I like for athletes to be able to have the sport be a safe space for them, they are able to forget all their problems in life as soon as they step on the court. Every athlete is pushed to the best of their abilities, and become not only great athletes but students and also people! Coaching has been a huge passion of mine and I enjoy what I do. They really are telling the truth when they say, “When you do what you love, you don’t have to work a day in your life”
I am from Minnesota
