BOYS CLUB VOLLEYBALL
2024-25 SEASON!
OPEN GYMS:
Every Mon/Weds from 6-8p
MS & HS TRYOUTS: Saturday, August 10th: 8-10a
If you want your son to develop foundational volleyball skills and train at the highest level, Ignite provides that and more.
We are in our 4th year of boys and 12th year of girls volleyball. The last several years we’ve been the largest club in Scottsdale and have been growing every year. We attribute that to our strong work ethic and our amazing coaches – many who were college/pro athletes and have college coaching backgrounds. Most of our coaches have been with Ignite for several years and have been big contributors to our success. This year our girls program finished in gold, silver and bronze brackets at some of the toughest qualifiers.
In order to compete with the best, our national teams will be traveling along with the rest of the top boys clubs in the valley, to the Brickyard Battle in Indianapolis on November 23-25th. In addition to the SoCal Cup: Winter Formal, Ignite will compete at the SCVA Junior Boys Invitational. These tournaments will provide the best possible competition and training for your son.
Last year in SoCal our teams placed 5th and 9th!
Our 18’s National team finished 10th at AAU Nationals!
We also include Sports Performance training for every team! Each of our practices will include big weights, speed and agility, box jumps and fast twitch muscle training. No other club in our area does this! Last season some of our kids increased their jump by over 6 inches – a testament to the hard work from our in-house Sports Performance Director, Robert Branch!
Some of the other reasons why to play at Ignite:
- 2 of our boys were recruited this past season to play at Ottawa! Our recruiting program actively helps athletes along the path to play post HS. Most clubs will do a big recruiting meeting and then provide little to no support during the season.
- 3 full volleyball courts. Some of our competitors say they have 3 or more courts, but 1 or 2 of them aren’t even full size nor do they provide a safe enough space around them.
- Air Conditioning! We keep it nice and cool in our facility whereas others use swamp coolers. It’s hard to give full effort in every practice when playing in 80+ degree temps
- Ask around, Ignite has a commitment to the highest integrity, while most of our competition does not. We’ve been around the longest and had the most success out of any program in Scottsdale and a lot of that comes from how we care about each and every athlete, team, coach and staff member. The culture we create in our gym is why our coaches’ and athlete’s retention rate is super high.
- In-house Physical Therapy from our partners at Train2Win – Dan and Jessica Swinscoe! No other boy’s club provides that level of service.
If you are wanting your son to learn and compete with the best, Ignite is the only choice in Scottsdale.
We will be fielding the following teams:
17/18 Nationals
15-18 Local
15/16 Nationals
15/16 Local
14 and Under Local
